# About

Stephen is a member of the Edge API team at Netflix. His team develops and
operates the Netflix API platform. This is the nexus point where hundreds of
microservices are aggregated into a single API that delivers the Netflix
experience for the hundreds of millions of Netflix devices worldwide. Prior to
Netflix, Stephen dabbled in medical imaging algorithms for GE Healthcare in
Versailles before pivoting to nuclear control systems for the Tennessee Valley
Authority, and then messaging systems for OpenTable. When not distributing
systems, Stephen can be found chasing his one-year-old daughter and trying to
teach her drums - much to his wife’s chagrin.
